Cornmeal-Crusted California avocados[edit]

Hoisin-green onion relish[edit]

Curried cucumber relish[edit]

Fruit relish with chipotle and lime[edit]


Per Order[edit]

  1. Cut half an avocado into 3 wedges.
  2. Dredge wedges in flour, then, egg wash.
  3. Roll in cornmeal.
  4. Deep fry until golden brown, about 3 minutes.
  5. Drain.
  6. Serve with 3 tablespoons of relish of choice.


  1. This method applies to each of the three relishes.
  2. Combine all ingredients an hour or two before service to marry flavors.
