Date and tamarind chutney[edit]

Procedures[edit]

  1. Heat 1 tsp oil and add rock salt and turmeric powder.
  2. Add puffed rice and on a very slow fire roast them for 5 minutes.
  3. Add shev, potatoes, onions and crush puries into the above mix.

  1. Take the dates and cook in microwave oven for 5 minutes.
  2. Add tamarind paste, Sugar, cumin powder and coriander powder.
  3. Blend to a fine paste in a liquidiser.

Tips[edit]

  1. onions should be finely chopped.
  2. A dash of lime juice is recommended.
