Description
carvi cream (prepared on the occasion of a birth)
Ingredients
- 2 cups Sugar * 1 cup rice powder
- 2 tbls carvi powder
- 1/2 tbls aniseed powder
- 1/2 tbls cinnamon powder
- roughly chopped nuts, pine kernels, almonds, grated coconut
Directions
Bring 2.5 liters of water to a boil, add the rice powder diluted in a bit of cold water. Add the Sugar and spices. Stir with a wooden spoon until the mixture thickens. Pour in cups. Serve cold, covered with the nuts and coconut.
