An herb jelly made from the stems and leaves of the mint plant. This jelly which is bright green in color, has a pleasant aroma and mint taste. Many different recipes exist for making this jelly, some combined with apples to add a distinctive fruit flavor to the jelly. It is a traditional condiment that can be served as an appetizer on crackers or as a compliment to meat, particularly lamb.
