Bean Soup

• Serves 8

Ingredients

• 3 quarts water
• 1 pound dried navy beans
• 1 ham bone
• 1 pound ham or ham steak, cubed
• 2 stalks celery, diced
• 2 carrots, diced
• 1 onion, diced
• 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
• salt and pepper to taste

Procedures

1. Combine all ingredients in a large pot or roaster.
2. Cover and bake in a preheated 325°F oven for 3 to 4 hours.
