- Serves 8
Ingredients
- 3 quarts water
- 1 pound dried navy beans
- 1 ham bone
- 1 pound ham or ham steak, cubed
- 2 stalks celery, diced
- 2 carrots, diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a large pot or roaster.
- Cover and bake in a preheated 325°F oven for 3 to 4 hours.
