About borş
Borş is fermented wheat bran, a souring agent which is used frequently in Romanian cooking. It can also refer to any sour soup in Romanian cuisine.
The borş powder comes in sachets sold in Romanian shops, but as a substitute you can use either lemon or sauerkraut juice.
