Description

Cooked Asian pears with peppercorns

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Peel and core the pears.
  2. Cut into quarters, round the edges.
  3. Stick in 2-3 peppercorns on the outer side.
  4. Combine water, sugar and pear in a sauce pan, bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat to low, cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Let cook, put in a fridge.
  7. Serve in a small bowl with 2-3 pears and some pine nuts on top.
