• 1/4 c Solid vegetable shortening
• 2 lg eggs
• 1/2 c buttermilk
• 3 1/2 c all-purpose flour
• 2 ts baking powder
• 1 ts baking soda
• 1/2 ts cinnamon
• 1/2 ts salt
• 1/4 ts nutmeg
