Pepperoni Pizza Pasta

This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Hoyt Estate in Allen, Texas in 1989.

Ingredients
- ¾ cup water
- 6 ounces tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon oregano
- ½ teaspoon pizza seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 8 ounces ziti pasta
- 1 ounce pepperoni slices halved
- ¼ cup bell peppers chopped
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon oregano
- 4 ounces mozzarella cheese shredded
Directions
- Combine water, tomato paste, oregano, pizza seasoning, salt, garlic powder and black pepper in medium saucepan.
- Mix well and bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer ten minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Spray square dish with cooking spray and set aside.
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- In a mixing bowl combine pizza sauce, pasta, pepperoni, bell peppers, parmesan cheese and oregano them mix well and spread evenly into prepared dish.
- Sprinkle top with cheese then cover with foil and bake 30 minutes.
