Tea Eggs
Ingredients
- 6 chicken eggs
- 4 cups of water
- 3 tbl. of Jasmine green tea
- 1/4 tbl. of dark soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp. chopped ginger
- 1/2 tsp. of chopped garlic
Procedure
- Bring water and spices to a boil
- Drop eggs and boil for 3 minutes
- Reduce to simmer and simmer for 1 hour
- Reduce to low heat and allow eggs to sit in brine until served.
