Description
This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Henson Estate in Dallas, Texas in 1982. From "Catsrecipes Y-Group"[1]
Ingredients
- 1 egg beaten
- 3 ounce package cream cheese softened
- 2 tablespoon self-rising flour
- 1 large green pepper cut into ½ inch strips
- 1 cup vegetable oil
Directions
- Combine first 3 ingredients mixing well.
- Dip green pepper strips in cream cheese mixture turning to coat.
- Fry in hot oil until golden brown then drain on paper towels and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
