Coconut Milk
1 can shredded coconut 1 cup hot milk
Place coconut in bowl. cover with milk, let stand 30 minutes then drain through sieve, forcing through as much of the coconut as possible or place both ingredient in blender, beat until coconut is soft and pulpy. Strain. Discard coconut. use liquid in recipes requiring coconut milk. Makes 1 cup Source: My Old Recipes
