Description
A tasty recipe from New Brunswick, Canada. It's easy to make and with the best ingredients you get an even finer dimension of tastes !
Ingredients
- 1 quart rhubarb, chopped
- 1 quart onion, chopped fine
- 1 quart vinegar
- 2 lbs brown sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp celery salt
- 1 tsp cloves
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Directions
- Mix all together and boil slowly for 1½ hours or until thick.
- Stir occasionally to keep from burning to bottom of pot.
- Pour into sterilized jars and seal with wax.
