- Crack open the coconut, take off the skins, and cut very fine.
- Put into a saucepan and add the Sugar and about four tablespoons of water.
- Bring to a boil and then add the lime juice.
- Cook until brown, stirring all the time.
- Turn off and divide into pieces and allow to cool.
