In Australia these pufftaloons are usually made with a yeast-based bread dough.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 dessert spoon butter

Procedure

  1. Rub butter into flour & baking powder
  2. Make dough with milk
  3. Deep fry.

Serve hot with jam or golden syrup
