Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb baking potatoes, peeled
- 1 cup milk
- 1 bunch green onions, chopped
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon Tabasco green pepper sauce
- salt
Directions
Put potatoes in a saucepan and cover with enough water. Bring to a boil. Reduce to medium heat and cook for 25 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Drain. Mash potatoes. Cover and set aside. In another saucepan, combine milk, green onions and butter over medium heat. Add Tabasco sauce and mashed potatoes. Stir and continue to cook until mixture becomes creamy. Add salt to taste. Serve piping hot. Serves 6.
