Description

Use as part of main course.

  • Serves 6.

Ingredients

Procedures

  1. Wash leaves.
  2. Boil spinach in 1 cup water for about 10 minutes.
  3. Remove leaves from water and chop finely.
  4. Save the water for making sauces, stew or cooking rice.
  5. Heat pot and add fat.
  6. Put in washed rice and stir fry until rice is lightly brown.
  7. Heat pot and add fat.
  8. Put in washed rice and stir fry until rice is lightly brown.
  9. Add 3 cups salted water and let cook until almost dried for 10–15 minutes.
  10. Before completely dried, add tomatoes, sweet pepper, onion and spinach.
  11. Stir to combine all ingredients.
  12. Cover pot and let soak for about 10 minutes or until rice grains are tender.
  13. Serve hot with any meat dish.
  14. If rice grains are not tender, sprinkle with ½ cup water.
