Description

Purchased from the Van Sickle Estate in Mabank, Texas in 1990. Notation on card indicates this was Mimi's favorite cookie. Dated 1959.

Ingredients


Procedures

  1. Mix peanut oil to mashed bananas.
  2. Add vanilla and salt.
  3. Stir in rolled oats, oat bran, chopped mixed dried fruits and chopped nuts.
  4. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
  5. Flatten slightly.
  6. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
  7. Cool on wire rack.
  8. Store in tightly closed container in refrigerator.
