Ingredients
- 2 cups rye flour
- 1 cup white flour
- 1½ teaspoons salt
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 tablespoons shortening, melted
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1½ cups water or milk
- 1 tablespoon sugar
Procedures
- First mix flours, salt, baking powder and sugar.
- Add the liquid and the beaten egg, then the melted shortening.
- Bake in greased gem pans in hot oven for about 25 minutes.
