Description

Ingredients

Syrup

Procedures

  1. First make the syrup, by placing the water and sugar in a medium sized saucepan.
  2. Add cardamom, rosewater, and lemon juice.
  3. Boil for 5 minutes, until sugar dissolves.
  4. Set aside to cool.
  5. Place oil in a medium sized saucepan on high heat for 5 minutes.
  6. Dip almonds until slightly red, remove almonds and set aside until required.
  7. Lower to medium heat, and add flour to the oil.
  8. Mix until flour becomes reddish brown in colour.
  9. Now add the cold syrup and mix well.
  10. Keep mixing until you see the mixture starting to bubble and becoming thick like a dough, remove from heat and spoon onto a platter.
