Description
Ingredients
- 1 dozen whole ivi nuts
- 1/2 to 3/4 thick coconut cream
- 1/2 to 3/4 cup Sugar (depending on taste)
- banana leaves
- water
Procedures
1. Select ivi nuts. Scrape off brown skin. Wash well and soak in water to prevent browning.
2. Grate finely.
3. Add coconut cream and Sugar.
4. Wrap in banana leaves to make parcels in sizes according to preference.
5. Place the parcels into boiling water, bring to the boil, and simmer for about an hour until the ivi is cooked.
