Description

  • Makes 12 servings

Ingredients

Procedures

  1. Cook onion in butter in large saucepan until soft but not brown.
  2. Add rice, raisins, salt, orange peel, cardamom, cumin, cloves, broth and chutney.
  3. Heat to boiling, stir once, reduce heat, cover, and simmer 20 to 25 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
  4. Divide dressing in half and freeze one-half for a later meal.
  5. Serve with broiled pork chops, pork roast, or baked ham.
