Description
Rice soup
Ingredients
- 3 cups rice
- 6 cups water
- 2 cups coconut milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 orange leaf (laumoli)
- 1 cup cocoa or Koko Samoa
Procedures
- In large pot add rice and water.
- Bring to a boil.
- Add coconut milk (this can be substituted with Anchor or Carnation milk).
- Add sugar.
- Add orange leaf.
- Mix cocoa (or Koko Samoa) with hot water to form a thick liquid.
- Add to pot make sure cocoa is fully mixed into the liquid in pot.
- Bring to a boil.
- Remove orange leaf.
- cocoa rice should be in a thick soup-like condition.
- Sweeten to taste.
