Description

Broccoli may be substituted for cauliflower or a mix may be used. We have been making these since 1955 and love them. I hope you will too. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 1 egg or egg substitute
  • 3 tbsp matzo meal
  • salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1/3 cup oil (vegetable works best but olive or nut could be used)

Procedures

  1. Boil cauliflower in unsalted water until just tender.
  2. Mash and add remaining ingredients, except oil.
  3. Drop from the tip of a large spoon into hot oil.
  4. Brown on both sides.
