Description

Makes 4 rice mixes. Each mix makes 6 servings.

Ingredients

Pilaf

Procedures

Rice mix

  1. Combine all ingredients in large bowl; mix well.
  2. Place 2 cups rice mix in each of 4 air-tight containers or zip-top plastic bags.

Pilaf

  1. Combine 1 rice mix, 1¾ cups water, and 1 tablespoon butter or margarine in 2- to 3-quart saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil; stir once or twice. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 15 minutes, or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
  3. Fluff with fork.
