Ingredients

Procedures

  1. Add butter to sweet potatoes, beat to blend.
  2. Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
  3. Heat milk to steaming and add to dissolved yeast.
  4. Add potatoes eggs, salt, sugar, and 2 cups of the flour.
  5. Spoon into a large bowl.
  6. Cover bowl with a damp cloth, and let rise in warm place until dough is doubled about 1 hr.
  7. Sift in remaining flour.
  8. Knead until smooth 10 minutes.
  9. Form into rolls about ½ in diameter.
  10. Place close together on buttered baking sheet.
  11. Cover and let rise again until double.
  12. Bake 20-30 minutes until tops are golden at 375°F.
