Pickled Northern
Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups white vinegar
- 2/3 cup Sugar
- 1 tablespoon pickling spices
- Muscatel Wine
Procedures
- Soak in salt water, soak 24 hours.
- Cover with white vinegar and soak 24 hours.
- Drain put up in alternate layers of and sliced onions.
- Make a syrup .
- Boil the syrup 5 minutes.
- Cook syrup and add 1 cup Muscatel Wine.
- Pour over and let sit in refrigerator for 3-4 days.
