Ingredients
- ½ lbs dried ginger (pounded green ginger)
- 1 gallon water
- ½ lime
- few cloves
- 3 lbs sugar
- ¼ pint rice (white)
Directions
- Put all ingredients into a clean jar.
- Stir until sugar is dissolved.
- Cover jar and leave for two days.
- On third day strain through a thin muslin, and bottle.
- Serve with cracked ice.
