  1. Put meat, onion, zucchini, potato, celery, carrot, salt, pepper, cinnamon, paprika, tomato paste, oil, chick-peas (if using dried kind) and ½ cup of water in a large pot.
  2. Cover and saute over low heat for 20 minutes.
  3. Add the rest of the water, bring to a boil and simmer for 45 minutes.
  4. Add pasta and chickpeas (if using canned).
  5. Cook for 10 minutes.
  6. Add parsley and mint.
  7. Serve with lemon slices.
