Scalloped Potato Beer Casserole

  1. Peel potatoes and slice into ⅛ inch slices.
  2. Layer a buttered casserole dish with ¼ of potatoes spread evenly in dish.
  3. Sprinkle potatoes with ¼ of onions.
  4. Combine in a small bowl salt, garlic salt, sugar, paprika, and flour.
  5. Blend well.
  6. Sprinkle 2½ teaspoons of this mixture evenly over first layer.
  7. Dot with 1 tbsp butter cut into pieces.
  8. Continue the procedure for 3 more layers.
  9. Pour beer over casserole and top with grated cheese.
  10. Bake at 350°F oven for 1 hour.
