Romanian Chicken Pilaf
In Romanian: Pilaf de pui
- Clean and wash the chicken, cut into pieces, salt and set into a pan with water to cover.
- Let boil for 15 minutes.
- Remove foam.
- Fry the rice with the lard. The rice must be dry without becoming brown.
- Arrange the chicken pieces on top of the rice and add two cups of the chicken broth.
- Let it come to a boil on top of the range and then place in the oven until the rice is done.
