Description[edit]

Purchased from the Weir Estate in Canton, Texas in 1990. Date on card says 1947, also indicates that it was so popular it was sold at a local market.

Procedures[edit]

  1. Cook beef until tender, then run through meat grinder with suet.
  2. Pare and quarter apples.
  3. Combine all ingredients and cook one hour, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat and seal in sterilized jars.
