Okra with meat



  1. Sauté stew meat with shortening.
  2. Place meat in another pot.
  3. Cover with water.
  4. Add salt.
  5. Cover and cook for 2 hours.
  6. Place aside.
  7. Sauté Onion with shortening until transparent.
  8. Stir in okra for 8 minutes.
  9. Stir in garlic and coriander for another 3 minutes.
  10. Add tomatoes, meat, stock, lemon juice and spices.
  11. Shake the pot twice on moderate heat.
  12. Cover and cook for 25 minutes.
  13. Serve hot accompanied with rice.
