This recipe is from



  1. Soak cod fish overnight.
  2. Boil the cod fish the next day in unsalted water for 15 minutes.
  3. Flake fish and set aside.
  4. Boil potatoes, slice and set aside.
  5. Slice onion, peppers, crush garlic and sauté in olive oil.
  6. In large casserole add a layer as follows, potatoes, then fish, sliced hard-eggs, onion, peppers , garlic.
  7. Sprinkle olives and parsley.
  8. Pour olive oil over the entire casserole.
  9. Cover and bake at 350°F for a ½ hour in a 3 qt. casserole dish.
