Apple Walnut Bread Pudding

  1. Heat oven to 350°F.
  2. Lightly brush bread slices with margarine; cut into ½-inch cubes.
  3. Place on cookie sheet.
  4. Bake 10 minutes or until lightly toasted.
  5. Place in shallow 1½-quart baking dish.
  6. Add apples and walnuts; toss lightly.
  7. Pour milk, egg substitute and vanilla into large mixing bowl.
  8. Beat with wire whisk until well blended.
  9. Add pudding mix and ½ teaspoon cinnamon; whisk until well blended.
  10. Pour over bread mixture; sprinkle with remaining ½ teaspoon cinnamon.
  11. Bake 30 minutes.
  12. Remove pan from oven; let stand 10 minutes before serving.
